This Bubble Frosting Formula creates a fun, pipeable topping for bath projects using just three simple ingredients. The mixture can be colored as desired and should be piped immediately after mixing, before it begins to set.

75.5% Baking Soda
7.5% Cream of Tartar
17% Coco Betaine

Method
- Combine the baking soda and cream of tartar in a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly to break up any lumps and evenly distribute the powders.
- Add the Coco Betaine and mix until a smooth, uniform frosting consistency forms.
- If desired, add a small amount of bath-safe cosmetic color and mix until evenly distributed. Transfer the mixture immediately to a piping bag fitted with your desired decorating tip.
- Pipe immediately onto your bath project before the frosting begins to set.
- Allow the finished project to dry and harden completely before packaging.

This formula is designed to be piped immediately after mixing. Working time may vary depending on raw materials, room temperature, and humidity.
Color is optional. Use a colorant appropriate for bath products and use sparingly. Too much color may discolor bath water or surfaces.
Different supplier grades or concentrations of Coco Betaine may affect the final consistency. Make a small test batch when using a new supplier.
Have your piping bag and decorating tip prepared before mixing the formula so the frosting can be piped as soon as it reaches the proper consistency.
Allow the finished project to dry and harden completely before packaging. Drying time will vary with the size of the piped decoration and environmental conditions.
