Notes of citrus, oak, sandalwood, and amber

IFRA Evangeline

SKU: FO-EVANG Category: Tags: , , , , ,

There is one southern live oak tree along the bank of  Bayou Teche in St Martinville, Louisiana. It is called Evangeline Oak. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote a poem titled Evangeline. After the expulsion of the Acadian people from Acadia, it was at that tree she reportedly waited for her lover, Gabriel, who never came.

To us, Evangeline is a testimonial to the enduring spirit of the Acadian people.

A romantically appealing fragrance with notes of citrus, wildflowers, oak, sandalwood, and amber. All the smells of the Bayou.
